CAT. 8 (2013 SCI FI - ACTION MOVIE FOR TV)

This movie is about a research program which as abandoned by the best solar physicist when the Pentagon wanted to put it to military use. Then was resumed by his former deputy. She let the Defense secretary's haste cause it to be tested too soon, as a result it stired up an unprecedented solar
flares, ultimately a plasma causing disasters on all continents. Only the solar physicist genius can think of a way out of this disaster. The problem that is, not only does he have to try to save the world, but he is also victimized by the defense secretary. Even when it turns out the earth's core has stopped spinning, spelling an unimaginable seismic apocalypse, the genius must still evade special forces to stay free and save the world again.

Now this is a very far fetch Sci Fi movie, but it is a Sci Fi movie which I found entertaining. When I watch Sci Fi, I don't expect to have a science lesson.

The only two I problems I had with this movie was that the special forces would even listen to the defense secretary when there is only a few hours left and physicist is the only one that has a chance of saving the world. The second thing is that the world is coming to an end and everyone just walks around like they have all the time in the world.  I guess they had to make the movie stretch out for the 2 hours.
