Solomon Kane is the final movie we rented this Labor Day weekend. I must say first that this movie has extreme violence and is rated (R). It is a Action - Adventure - Fantasy movie. Therefore it twists the truth on Christianity as well. 
Solomon Kane is about a ruthless mercenary of Queen Elizabeth, fighting Spaniards in Africa. He then meets the Devil's Reaper and discovered he was bound for hell. When barely escaping, he then renounced violence to atone for his past sins, seeking out redemption in a life of peace. That is until the followers of sorcerer Malachi kidnapped a Puritan girl and her family was slain by the sorcerer's murderous cult. This forces him to fight when the girls father on his dying breath makes him promise to get her back to her mother. Now he hopes to seek his redemption by slaying evil.
This is a good action, fantasy movie. I give it C C .
It's a 7/10 in my ratings!!
