"Ring of Fire" It is a 2012 TV mini series Sci-Fi drama.
Now the next movie John rented was "Ring of Fire".
The movie is about an oil rig that causes a volcanic eruption in a small town. This
eruption causes a trigger effect called The Ring of Fire that stretches across the globe. If these cataclysmic series of eruptions cannot be stopped, the earth will be swallowed whole, leading to an extinction level event.

The stars are Michael Vartan, Terry O'Quinn and Ian Tracey.
For a TV mini-series, it's not bad. It does not have the special effects that you might see in a movie made for the theater. In spite of the bad camera work, I did get hooked on the story and did watch it to the end, since overall the story-line was interesting even though it was slow moving until the explosions started.
This is a okay movie made for TV. I give it C&1/2 .
It's a 6/10 in my ratings!!
