THE IMPOSSIBLE

"THE IMPOSSIBLE" IS A MOVIE ABOUT FIGHTING AGAINST ALL ODDS!

This was a nice easy going Labor Day weekend.  Well John had rented some movies just to watch and just chill.  He rented "The Impossible" which was finally in.  We were on a waiting list to see it.


This movie is based on a true story of a Spanish family. 

Maria Bennett, who along with husband Henry and boys Lucas, Simon and Thomas head to Thailand for a Christmas vacation. It's about this one family's journey in the wake of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.  The family was relaxing by the pool on a dream holiday. Seconds later, Maria and her terrified husband and three sons were swept away by a ferocious 30ft wall of water that devoured everything in its path.

This story is GREAT, I couldn't stop crying. It gave me goose bumps when I think about all those people who went through this.   This movie showed us that even in the worse times God loves us and miracles can happen.

The acting was incredible.  The Impossible stars are, Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland and directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. This was just an unforgettable account of a family caught, with tens of thousands of strangers, in the mayhem of one of the worst natural catastrophes of our time. 

This is a must see movie...but bring your tissue box with you.  I give it CCC .  It's a 10/10 in my ratings!!
