This movie revolves around Detective David Ramsey and his Christian partner Larry. David is a little tired of his buddy, Larry taking every chance he can get to work God into their regular conversations. 






On this particular call to rescue a kidnapped pop singer from a person who lives in a trailer, David has a near-death experience.  Larry calls it a miracle, but David isn't quick to believe the fact that his cell phone somehow was strong enough to stop a speeding bullet from entering his heart would be anything of the sort. 

The prize for saving the singer's life is a trip on her shady boyfriend's yacht.

This was supposed to be the perfect vacation for David. David and his wife go aboard the private yacht along with his partner Larry and his wife. Larry and his wife decide to go site seeing on an island, but David and his wife decided to have some along time.  They go on a beach picnic and David gets tired so, his wife leaves to collect seashells.  When he awakes he finds out that his wife is missing.  After trying to find her without success, he returns to the yacht, hoping she was there, only to find out that his friends suddenly disappear too.

During the investigation of the shady boyfriend, David’s Captain discovers a link between

underworld crime, the boat captain and its owner (the shady boyfriend). Just as David begins to unravel the mystery, he is shocked to wake up and find out it was just a nightmare, or was it?

David finds himself reliving the day of the disappearance again and again, like on "Groundhog Day".  Each time David tries to change the event and not loose his wife, he fails, but learns a little lesson from God along the way. 

I really liked this movie, cause it was a mystery of how the plot was to make him understand why his wife and friends disappeared and not him.  He did say that he believed in God, but still didn't understand that if God was behind the disappearances, why was he left behind.

I feel that this movie gives us a chance on learning how to explain to others, what is needed to be saved.
